Today I finally spent a couple of hours working on my Ubuntu App Showdown submission.
HumanTask is a personal task manager for humans
Managed to get it into a (very early) functional state. Here’s a quick preview for the curious ones:
How it works
- You maintain lists of tasks
- You strike off completed tasks as you go along
Meta info
- Usability – Extremely simple to use even for first time, non-tech savvy users
- Ubuntu Design Guidelines – Making the experience consistent for Ubuntu (and Xubuntu) users
- Stability – Building upon the shoulders of (very stable) giants

- Complete the obvious remaining features
- Setup Launchpad profile
- Gather community feedback and iterate
